Deck Daddy'sRaleigh · NC

Our process

Four steps, and you always know what's next.

A new deck is a serious decision — so the way it's run should be clear, not a mystery. Every Deck Daddy's build follows the same four steps, with the permit handled for you and a walk-through at the end.

  1. 01

    Free On-Site Estimate

    Day one

    You & Paul

It starts with a free, no-obligation estimate. We come out to your yard, measure, and talk through how you want to use the space, roughly what size deck you’re picturing, and any budget in mind. You get a clear, itemized price — composite or wood — before you commit to anything.

  2. 02

    Design & Materials

    Before we break ground

    You & Paul

Together we settle the design and the material choices: composite or wood, board color, railing style, stairs, and any covers or add-ons. We confirm the layout and the price, and — because it matters here in Wake County — we handle the permit paperwork so the build is set up to pass inspection.

  3. 03

    The Build

    Usually days, not weeks

    Paul & the crew

On site we tear out the old deck if there is one, set the footings and framing to code, and lay the decking, railings and stairs. Our crew works fast and clean — many of our customers are surprised how quickly the whole thing comes together — and we keep you in the loop the whole way.

  4. 04

    Walk-Through & Inspection

    The day it’s finished

    You & Paul

We walk the finished deck with you and make sure you’re happy with every detail, and we coordinate the final permit inspection so you have proof it was built to code. Your composite decking carries its manufacturer warranty, and financing through Hearth is available if you’d rather spread the cost.

When it's done, it's done right. Your deck is built to code, permitted, and — on composite — backed by the manufacturer's warranty, so it holds up for decades rather than seasons.
